Its that time of year again, a time for change. The ‘beige wing’ is covered up for the winter. The caravan that has been our home for six months in North Wales has been taken away for storage over the winter in Porthmadog, and the little Honley 125 has been loaded into the motorhome. Now that the campsite has closed, Black Rock Sands camping and Touring Park, we have moved, a whole 300 yards up to Twm and Rhian’s farm, Carreg Yr Eryr, for two nights before this winters adventure begins.
This year I am heading for Portugal with a shooting plan, last year was an exploratory trip to get out of the rut that my work was in. this year I will be extending the project that I have been shooting in Wales. I will be looking at the transition from Land to sea along the Algarve coast, with emphasis on the interaction between man and the land. I will be working on the Hasselblad H3D again, in colour! The aim for the project is again to publish a book. I am moving away from exhibiting as I am able to share my work with a larger audience via digital media, blogs and publishing. It also enables me to pursue the lifestyle that I am enjoying and thriving in.
