The second stop was in Chez Gendon, a lovely campsite in the middle of the vineyards in Blaye, south west France. We only stayed one night but that gave plenty of scope for work. The front of the campsite faces the vineyards, whilst the rear borders chestnut woodland. The quite dense chestnut canopy gave the opportunity to play with the pools of light created on the woodland floor.
I chose to continue to use the Hasselblad CWD with the 80mm lens. I am very comfortable using this camera, maybe a little too comfortable. I continue to produce similar images to the Forest Nation series. Hardly surprising I suppose, seeing as I am working in a similar environment.
